The life’s work of an EML individual, and an outstanding team effort, have been recognised as finalists in the 2019 icare’s Care and Service Excellence (CASE) Awards.
EML Claims Optimisation Specialist Michele Casci is a Lifetime Achievement category finalist after devoting more than a quarter of a century to workers’ compensation across two Australian jurisdictions and in New Zealand.
Michele’s work includes training case managers in psychological injury case management and supporting career development for more than 400 emerging leaders.
EML’s FRNSW Presumptive Legislation team is a finalist in icare’s Care and Service Excellence (CASE) Awards in the Category: Outstanding Team - Care & Service (a. Care and support).
EML’s Presumptive Legislation team of Brett Anderson and Michael Say worked closely with icare, Treasury and Fire and Rescue NSW to achieve alignment with legislation, the scheme, and the agency needs while also collaborating with medical and allied health oncology and medico-legal specialists to facilitate/deliver patient-centred care and rehabilitation.
EML has been delivering icare’s nominal insurer scheme in NSW through the largest transformation to workers compensation in 30 years.
The team supports NSW government agencies, businesses large and small, and workers and communities across the state.
The CASE award winners will be announced at a black-tie event on 7 November 2019.
