Newcastle becomes injured workers claims management regional hub - 110 years after EML first launched there
Personal injury claims management provider EML has expanded its operations in New South Wales opening a third office in Newcastle.
“EML began assisting injured and ill people to return to work in Newcastle nearly 110 years ago, since then EML has grown significantly now with more than 2,300 staff serving customers across Australia,” EML General Manager of Return to Work and Support Services Adam Keogh said.
“The quality of talent in the Newcastle region has been impressive, so it made a lot of sense for us to further expand in this location to take advantage of the experience on offer,” Mr Keogh said.
Our new premises in Honeysuckle Drive will be the workplace for more than 100 people working to help people get their lives back after a work-related injury or illness.
“Many of these EML employees are supporting workers with the most complex of injuries,” Mr Keogh said.
“We also welcome new team members who are joining EML from backgrounds from not only case management, but also insurance, allied health, psychology, call centre and customer experience roles ensuring a well-rounded team with an optimum skillset.”
The office was launched today.
It’s the seventh EML office to open in New South Wales and one of more than a dozen nationwide as the Australian owned mutual expands its operations in both urban and regional centres.
EML offers a range of services in personal injury management and prevention, undertakes leading-edge research funding and is the trusted service provider to frontline emergency response officers and small and large businesses.
