EML has grown from a team of over 1,000 to 2,300 in less than eight years (when we first participated in Earth Hour). In that time our commitment to reducing our environmental impact has become a lot more strategic and comprehensive.
Our minimum standards of tenancy include:
- 4.5+ star energy rating
- 3.5+ star water rating
- Public transport proximity
We encourage staff to run computers at 50% brightness, use ceramic cups and recycle and limit the amount of paper used. As a multi-state organisation, we minimise unnecessary travel through the use of video teleconferencing and other remote technology enablement.
Our environmental commitment takes into consideration people, buildings, what waste is produced and future needs. We grow our business responsibly.
